The organization WAVAW, Women against violence against women, is currently in the process of developing a week long curriculum for grade 8 students on violence prevention and systemic oppression.
On Sunday November 29th from 9am-1pm they will be hosting a forum for teachers and counselors to attend a presentation of this curriculum and provide feedback and advice to our developers to create a curriculum that works for both students and teachers.  
Please pass this information along to teaching staff or anyone at your school who is interested in social change and curriculum development, as this is an exciting opportunity that they won’t want to miss.
